The Phantastic Library Wetzlar is reputed to host the world’s largest public collection of phantastic literature.
The book inventory of the Phantastic Library Wetzlar contains more than 200,000 titles, including Science Fiction, fantastic and utopic genres, fairy-tales, legends and myths as well as adventure literature. As research library together with an adjoining academy, the Phantastic Library considers itself a cultural and educational center. Just recently its director, Thomas Le Blanc, established the unique research project “Future Life” which is connecting science fiction and business. Referring to future scenarios in literature, the project aims at generating new ideas and designs that are able to sustainably change our technological future.
