The Wetzlar based company VIAOPTIC has specialized in the design and manufacture of highly sophisticated molded optics for various applications.
In 1922, the “Feinwerktechnik Wetzlar GmbH” had been founded. In 2002, the company changed into VIAOPTIC GmbH. Over the years, the company has established as a leading supplier of plastic optical components and systems, technical injection molded parts and injection molding tools.
In 2009, the company has moved into a modern building located at the Leitz-Park, designing and manucaturing highly sophisticated plastic components, molded optics and complete assemblies. Their application range includes micro optics and LED illumination optics as well as sensor housing and optomechanical assemblies for banknote testers.
