TRIOPTICS is expanding
Stefan Uwe Best has been managing the TRIOPTICS branch office in Wetzlar since May 2020. In the coming year, the sales and service location will be significantly expanded.
The Wetzlar Network warmly welcomes TRIOPTICS GmbH, Wetzlar branch, as a new member. The company, headquartered in Wedel, Germany, develops measurement and manufacturing systems for industrial and scientific applications and offers the world's most comprehensive portfolio of optical measurement, inspection and manufacturing technology for development, quality assurance and production.
In the past four years, Peter Watz continually expanded the site in Wetzlar. Stefan Uwe Best has been head of the site in Wetzlar since May 2020. “I am very excited about my tasks at TRIOPTICS,” he says: “Wetzlar is a center of the German optical industry and also an ideal location for serving our customers.” The Wetzlar team currently comprises seven sales and service employees, and the modern building with a total of 200 square meters contains a large showroom in addition to the sales and service offices, so that consulting, training and order measurements can take place directly on site.

“My goal is to expand the Wetzlar location even further in the future by reinforcing it with additional service technicians in order to be able to respond more quickly to our customers’ needs in this area as well,” explains Stefan Uwe Best. Indeed, the TRIOPTICS branch office in Wetzlar is on a growth course. The sales and service location in Wetzlar is to be enlarged and expanded into a training center for southern Germany. In addition to the office and storage areas, the showroom with corresponding training rooms is therefore to gain significant space.
The area used by TRIOPTICS will more than triple to around 700 square meters in the new building. The completion date of the two-story building that TRIOPTICS is leasing is scheduled for fall 2021 – in time for the 30th anniversary of TRIOPTICS.
