Sensitec participates in research consortium “Basic System for Cross-Company Production Support” (BaSys überProd).
Since the first months of 2021, 21 partners from science and industry have been cooperating in the research project “Basic System for Cross-Company Production Support” (BaSys überProd). The research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research is under the direction of Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE in Kaiserslautern and aims at developing solutions for the transition towards digitized, flexible industry 4.0 products and at implementing representative use cases in commercial enterprises. In the context of the project, Sensitec GmbH in Wetzlar closely collaborates with the University of Technology Kaiserslautern and Fraunhofer IESE in developing a software which will make it possible to carry out a preliminary analysis when integrating new sensor systems into existing production plants.
